Probrand, the platform for efficient IT procurement, has received its first £1 million order, made by a healthcare organisation to purchase a complete solution of hardware, accessories and configuration services.
The £1 million order comes as Probrand Marketplace continues its growth trajectory, with more than 23,000 users now benefitting from the digital procurement platform. The record order demonstrates customer confidence in the solution, as Probrand continues to help organisations find new ways to make savings.
It follows the release of a new Price Entitlement Solution (PES) feature on the Probrand Marketplace which presents customers with unique discounts and offers within personalised catalogues that are stored within their user profiles.
Users can revisit the catalogues at any point in the future while the offer remains valid and still access the discount, meaning they can retrieve their bespoke offers without having to re-run manual searches and price checks.
The savings are automatically applied via Probrand’s digital platform, which cuts out lengthy negotiation and manual ways of working – helping IT buyers save time and money.
Ian Nethercot MCIPS, supply chain director, Probrand, said: “IT buyers have been inadvertently paying inflated prices for too long and we agree with them it’s time for change. We are constantly striving to bring more transparency to the market and to help buyers realise efficiency and cash savings, at a time when many are looking for new ways to drive costs out of their daily operations. The development of the PES is just one of the ways we are doing that, helping to cherry-pick the most cost-effective way to purchase IT.
“The size and scale of this record order shows continued trust and confidence in the Probrand platform, which digitises traditional and manual ways of buying IT, revealing discounts previously left undiscovered.”
