Probrand awarded place on £1.5bn NHS SBS Tech Devices framework

Probrand, the IT procurement platform, has been named as a supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) and North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) framework – ‘Tech Devices – Link 4.’ Probrand has been listed as a supplier in Lot 1 (tech devices, peripherals, and associated services).

The new framework, worth up to £1.5bn over three years, replaces the existing IT Hardware and Services framework, Link 3, and is endorsed by NHS England as a recommended route to market for digital and IT spend across the NHS.

As a listed supplier on the framework, NHS organisations will now be able to buy IT on Probrand’s dynamic purchasing platform. The platform enables buyers to save time getting the best market deals, by giving users full visibility over daily pricing and stock updates on more than 300,000 IT hardware and software products from IT distributors. It also enables users to access sector discounts and secure additional cost savings with vendor supported pricing.

Probrand will also ensure NHS buyers meet governance and compliance criteria. Through the platform, organisations can create managed catalogues – so buyers only purchase from authorised IT distributors – and implement end user controls, such as spending caps and authorisation levels.

Ian Nethercot, supply chain director at Probrand, said: “Helping NHS organisations to become more innovative in how they procure IT products is a key objective of the recently introduced Procurement Act 2023 – and Probrand helps deliver this in partnership with frameworks like Tech Devices - Link 4.

“We are proud to support the NHS and wider public sector in realising goals around compliance, efficiency and value for money via our IT procurement platform.”

Probrand is accredited by procurement (CIPS) and finance (ICAEW) professionals for delivering procurement excellence and consistent best value.
