Supply Chain Management

As a proud member of amfori BSCI, DICOTA is committed to enhancing working conditions across global supply chains. The amfori eleven point charter ensures comprehensive worker protection, including health and safety standards, workplace equality, and a strict stance against child labour. Additionally, it emphasises the importance of providing appropriate training opportunities for young people. By working closely with its suppliers, DICOTA guarantees that the certification's rigorous criteria are consistently upheld. Partners pledge to fully adhere to the Code of Conduct, championing fair and socially responsible working conditions at every level.

Sustainable Materials

The organisation prioritises sustainability by using 100 percent mechanically recycled PET as the main material for its ECO collections. This eco friendly process transforms used drinking bottles into high quality fabric, reducing environmental impact without compromising on quality, durability, or style. Recycling PET bottles offers key benefits such as conserving resources, reducing waste, and lowering CO2 emissions by over 50 percent compared to virgin polyester. This process prevents plastics from polluting landfills and oceans, where they can take centuries to degrade. DICOTA ensures its suppliers follow the Global Recycled Standards for responsible practices and chemical usage throughout production. Currently, over 95 percent of the DICOTA product range is made from recycled materials, giving new life to between 6 and 65 bottles per product. Since launching the ECO Products line, DICOTA has repurposed more than 12 million PET bottles into over one million high quality, sustainable carrying solutions.

Careful Use of Resources

DICOTA prioritises recycled materials, waste reduction, and energy efficient designs for products and packaging, minimising transportation impacts by optimising weight, volume, and routes. All materials comply with REACH regulations and are screened for harmful substances such as PVC. Since 2011, compliance has been ensured through ongoing, independent laboratory analyses and strict on site inspections by the organisation's Hong Kong team. Through BellandVision, DICOTA supports sustainable packaging recycling, enabling customers to responsibly dispose of packaging free of charge. The annual Environment Certificate highlights the energy savings and greenhouse gas reductions achieved through consistent recycling. For marketing and office materials, the organisation uses FSC certified paper to promote responsible forestry, reduce pollution, and prevent deforestation.

Lasting Quality

DICOTA ensures exceptional quality with rigorous checks at every stage, from production to sale. Products are extensively tested by the internal team and independent institutes to meet the highest standards, endure daily use, comply with legal regulations, and remain free from harmful substances.
