Cloud Capability Lead, KPMG
Pete is the service owner for the KPMG UK Cloud Optimisation Service, and currently manages a multinational team delivering a large public sector open data project.
Prior to joining KPMG, Pete has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems delivery across the biotech, financial services, hybrid cloud hosting and consultancy sectors. During this time, he has managed the design, delivery and management of customer-facing technology solutions; rolled out customer Cloud Centre of Excellence and CI/CD capabilities; championed and introduce agile delivery methodologies; and built out an AWS delivery and professional services practice to AWS Advanced Partner Status.
For the last 10 years Pete has also been actively engaged in FinOps, working with a number of large and enterprises and SMEs across both public and private sector verticals to champion the build-out cloud governance and optimisation capabilities, and ensure delivery of compliant, cost-effective digital services.
